Midland University honors 18 graduates from hybrid Master of Business Administration Program

Omaha, Neb. – On December 13, 2019, Midland University presented 18 graduate students with their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees during a graduation ceremony at Midland’s main campus in Fremont, Nebraska.

The seventh cohort from the hybrid MBA program featured graduates with an average of 16 years of work experience from a variety of industries including agriculture, technology, E-commerce, financial services, and government.

In obtaining their degrees, students culminated the program with a consulting capstone project, which partnered them with local companies to provide in-depth analysis and solutions to specific challenges identified by the organization. Graduates completed projects at Mosaic, Lifegate Church, Dundee Venture Capital, and CLAAS of America, among others.

Graduate Tracy Masker, a Senior Information Technology Manager at Gavilon, LLC. served as the student commencement speaker. Masker is president of the Women’s Leadership Council at Gavilon and works to provide a platform and opportunity for women to grow their leadership skills.

Midland University’s hybrid MBA program is designed for busy working professionals who need the flexibility of an online program, but still want to build their professional network. The program meets in person about once per month in Omaha, with flexible online coursework in-between.
